Right Wing is a huge area of worry for Manchester United. With Ahmad Diallo the only real right winger at the club (and limited to just 1 Premier League start), the attack from the right hand side is as blunt as a spoon. It also leaves huge gaps on the right, forcing Wan-Bissaka to cover the whole wing himself, which eventually forces mistakes out of him.
1. Jadon Sancho
The saga for the English winger from Borrussia Dortmund was all the press talked about last season, and the speculation has already started with rumours of Sancho and team mates Jude Bellingham and Erling Haaland leaving the club have been rife.
Sancho has had a quieter season than usual, hitting 8 goals this season (over half of his 17 in the league last campaign) which should knock a few million of last season’s £100 million asking price. United will be keen to wrap the transfer up for the winger, who uses his speed and technical ability to form one of the most potent attacking trio’s in all of Europe.
Having been on United radar for 3 years now, they will be keen to sign the former Golden Boy winner in order to move Mason Greenwood to his more familiar position, up front.
2. Ousmane Dembele
The Barcelona winger has flattered to deceive since his £105 million move from Dortmund to Barcelona. The Frenchman, who won the World Cup with France in 2018, has struggled with injuries in recent years, last season playing only 5 league games.
The tricky winger utilises showboating skills and his dual footedness to bamboozle defenders, and has a decent record this season, with 6 goals and 3 assists in the league this season in 28 games. The winger would be a welcome addition to United, also being able to play on the left wing and behind the striker if push came to shove.
With his 5 year deal signed with Barcelona coming to an end in 2022, he could be available for Ole Gunner Solsjkaer’s team for a more reasonable price than Barcelona paid for him,
